General Information

St. Chad’s School is a Voluntary Aided Catholic School situated in the Newtown area of Birmingham. These factors greatly influence our curriculum delivery and give us our distinctive ethos. We offer our pupils a good academic and social education in a Christ centred environment. The teachings of the Catholic Church permeate the whole curriculum.

Catholic children are prepared for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Communion and Confirmation. Masses and other Acts of worship take place on a regular basis, and ALL children are expected to participate. We are fortunate in having our own School Chaplain. Parents are expected to be involved in their child’s religious upbringing particularly, and to support the school in all aspects. Help and support is given by the school to the parents particularly when their child is preparing to receive the Sacraments.
