To all connected with the St Teresa of Calcutta Academy,
I am sending you a short message to update you on the planned expansion and growth of our academy during the coming year.
I start by saying thank you and best wishes to our CSEL and former Executive Headteacher, Glen Alexander, who retires at the end of August. I would also like to offer thanks and best wishes to other colleagues who may be retiring or leaving our family of schools.
I am pleased to announce that St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, The Rosary Catholic Primary School and St Chad’s Catholic Primary School plan to join our Academy.
A formal 28 day first consultation will begin on Wednesday 2nd September. More details of this process to emerge in the weeks ahead.
It has certainly been an incredible academic year and period of great reflection for us all. We pray that we emerge stronger as a result of the challenges we have faced.
In September we come back together in the spirit of partnership and collaboration, as we look to provide the very best standard of education to all youngsters we are privileged to serve.
With every best wish,
Colin Crehan
Accounting Officer Designate.
Welcome to St Chad's Catholic Primary School
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and for taking an interest in our school. Hopefully, you should be able to find much of the information you seek from our site. If however, you would prefer to call us then please don't hesitate to contact us.
At St Chad's our first priority is your child's welfare and therefore there may be occasions when our concern about your child means that we have to consult other agencies even before we contact you. The procedures we follow have been laid down by the Birmingham Safeguarding Children Board. If you want to know more about these procedures, please come and speak to us.

WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL
The behaviour of our children is good, both in school and when taking part in learning opportunities outside of school, they never let us down.
Our parents are supportive of our Mission and we welcome them into our school for Family and Parent workshops whenever we can.
DIVERSITY
We have dedicated staff who work hard for the good of the children and the wider community.
We provide many opportunities for extracurricular activities, both sporting and academic.
Our school is made up of many languages and cultures but our Love of God unites us every day.
Consulting
Our Governors visit us regularly and are proactive in their support for the staff.
Our most recent Ofsted inspection shows we have come a long way in two years and we are now a 'Good' school
It is very important to be sure that your child enjoys every aspect of school life. We hope that you feel that we are doing this at St Chad's, and that you are able to come in and talk to us with suggestions of how to make our school even better.
